Blood Genius is legally responsible for ensuring its processing of personal information is compliant with all current data protection laws. This policy explains what information of yours will be collected by Blood Genius, how the information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What data we collect
2.1 Treatment information
As per all the healthcare professionals in the UK, Blood Genius is required by law to maintain all health, treatment or care records of all our patients. These records help our clinic to provide the best possible care and treatment which reflects our high standards.
All the information we collect and hold for our patients allow us to provide a number of different treatment services, monitor the quality of care that our patients experience and run our practice efficiently and effectively. These records also help us to respond to our patient’s queries or secure specialist services and are kept in both written and/or in electronic form. Our practice records include contact information about each patient, such as name, date of birth, telephone, email and postal address, in addition to more sensitive information about their health, including medical history, results of investigations: laboratory tests, blood tests, scans etc., which help our clinicians plan and deliver the best treatment and care for each and every one of our patients.
2.2 Google analytics
When someone visits bloodgenius.co.uk. we use a third party service called Google Analytics, to collect standard internet behavioural information and details of visitor patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
2.3 Cookies
Like the majority of the active webpages our web pages use “cookies”. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we place on your computer or mobile device if you agree. These cookies allow us to distinguish differences between visitors and provide to each visitor a good experience when they browse our website, while at the same time help us to improve our website journey’s.
